The three-layer polyethylene anti-corrosion buried pipeline is used to transport water, oil, gas and other media. The working temperature is 50℃-70℃. It has good anti-corrosion performance, low water absorption rate and high mechanical strength. 3PE anticorrosion originated in Germany in the 1980s. China National Petroleum Corporation decided to introduce 3PE coating operation and coating technology in the summer of 1994. There are currently dozens of 3PE coating lines in China.

3PE anti-corrosion steel pipe is currently the best form of outer wall anti-corrosion. Its base material is mostly spiral steel pipe, straight seam steel pipe and seamless steel pipe. The price of 3PE anti-corrosion steel pipe is calculated in various ways, generally the price of steel pipe plus the price of anti-corrosion layer The price of 3PE anti-corrosion is generally determined according to the diameter of the steel pipe. The quoted price of popular manufacturers is generally 48 yuan/square meter.

Generally, steel pipes with a diameter in the range of 89-1820mm can be subjected to 3PE anti-corrosion, but if the diameter exceeds 1 meter, special equipment is required, because the cost of such equipment is very high, and special requirements for steel pipes with a length of more than 1 meter are added. The orders for 3PE anticorrosion are relatively small. Generally, when people are higher than 2 meters, it is recommended to choose epoxy coal asphalt anticorrosion (usually three cloths and two oils).

Pipeline three-layer PE anti-corrosion structure: the first layer of epoxy powder (FBE>100um), the second layer of adhesive (AD) 170~250um, and the third layer of polyethylene (PE) 2.5~3.7mm. The three materials are integrated into one, and firmly combined with the steel pipe to form an excellent anti-corrosion layer. Its characteristics: high mechanical strength, wear resistance, corrosion resistance, heat resistance, cold resistance, can be used in 150 degree media, adapt to cold areas . Therefore, the 3PE anticorrosive layer is an ideal outer protective layer for buried pipelines. According to the inspection by authoritative departments, the life of buried pipelines using 3PE anti-corrosion technology can be as long as 50 years.

3PE anti-corrosion steel pipe advantages:

1.Long service life Polyethylene pipes have the highest molecular weight, good stability and aging resistance. Under normal operating temperature and pressure conditions, the service life can be guaranteed for more than 50 years.

2.Corrosion resistance Polyethylene molecular structure is extremely stable, resistant to natural gas, liquefied gas, artificial gas and other chemical corrosion, no secondary anti-corrosion equipment is required. The chemicals present in the soil will not cause any degradation of the pipes.

3.Good flexible polyethylene pipe is a kind of high toughness pipe whose elongation at break exceeds 500%. The flexibility of the polyethylene pipe makes it easy to bend. In engineering, it is possible to bypass obstacles by changing the direction of the pipeline. In many cases, the flexibility of the pipeline can reduce the amount of pipe fittings and reduce installation costs.

4.Excellent anti-shock and anti-seismic ability The low temperature embrittlement temperature of polyethylene is extremely low, it can be used safely in the temperature range of -60℃~60℃, and it has a strong adaptability to the uneven settlement of the pipe base. During winter construction, due to the good impact resistance of the material, brittle cracking of the pipe will not occur.

5.Good abrasion resistance The test shows that the abrasion resistance of the polyethylene pipe is 4 times that of the steel pipe, especially in the field of mud transportation. Compared with the steel pipe, the polyethylene pipe has better abrasion resistance.

6.Small water flow resistance polyethylene pipe has a smooth inner surface, and its Manning coefficient is 0.009. The smooth inner surface and non-adhesive properties ensure that polyethylene pipes have a higher delivery capacity than traditional pipes, while also reducing the pressure loss of pipelines and water consumption.

7.Good environmental performance Polyethylene pipes are not added with heavy metal stabilizers during processing. The material is non-toxic and harmless. It is a green and environmentally friendly pipe material, and the polyethylene material itself can be recycled and will not pollute the environment.

8.Good flame retardant and antistatic properties Our company has specially developed flame retardant and antistatic polyethylene pipes, which are suitable for flammable and explosive places.

9.Safe and reliable connection method Polyethylene pipes are mainly connected by hot melt or electric fusion, which essentially maintains the identity of the interface material, structure and pipe itself, and realizes the integration of the joint and the pipe, which can effectively resist the internal pressure. The hoop stress and the axial tension stress have no worries about water leakage and air leakage.

10.Light weight, easy to handle and easy to construct. The proportion of polyethylene pipe is only 1/8 of that of steel pipe. It is easy to handle and easy to bend. The welding process is simple and quick. The overall cost of the project is low and it has significant economic benefits.
