- Black ERW steel pipe is manufactured from high-quality carbon steel coils, primarily in grades Q195, Q235, and Q345, or equivalent standards such as ASTM A53 and BS 1387. The pipe is formed through cold forming and high-frequency electric resistance welding (ERW) technology, ensuring a uniform weld seam and consistent wall thickness. This production process guarantees reliable structural strength and excellent dimensional accuracy.

Available in a wide range of sizes, our black ERW pipe typically comes with outer diameters from 21.3mm to 300mm and wall thicknesses ranging from 0.6mm to 20mm. Standard lengths include 5.8m, 6m, and 12m, with custom lengths available upon request. Packaging & Protection
Each pipe surface is coated with a thin layer of anti-rust oil to prevent corrosion during shipping. Pipes are then wrapped with waterproof film and bundled with heavy-duty galvanized steel strapping. Threaded or beveled ends are fitted with protective caps to avoid damage. For added moisture protection, VCI paper can also be applied.
Container Loading & Space Optimization
Bundled pipes are loaded into standard shipping containers for secure transport. To maximize container utilization, we use pipe nesting – inserting smaller pipes into larger ones – which can significantly increase loading capacity and reduce shipping costs. All loading and unloading are carried out with soft slings and careful handling to maintain surface quality.

1. Oil & Gas Transmission
