Our oxygen lancing steel pipe, also known as an oxygen lance tube, is a specialized welded steel pipe primarily used in the steelmaking industry for oxygen blowing. Manufactured from high-quality carbon steel strips such as Q195, Q235, 08, 10, or 20, it is designed to deliver a powerful stream of oxygen into electric arc furnaces (EAF) and other smelting equipment. This process is essential for accelerating scrap melting, oxidizing impurities, and adjusting the carbon content to meet specific steel grade requirements

Our oxygen lancing pipes are available in a wide range of specifications to suit various furnace sizes and operational needs. Standard outer diameters range from 10mm to 60mm, with wall thicknesses between 1.0mm to 3.0mm. We offer standard unit lengths of 3-6 meters,, with custom lengths up to 9 meters available upon request. For enhanced performance and extended service life, we provide pipes with specialized surface treatments, including calorizing (aluminizing) and ceramic coating. These coatings significantly improve resistance to high temperatures, oxidation, and chemical corrosion, with calorized pipes offering a service life 5-7 times longer than standard pipes

Our oxygen lancing pipes are manufactured from high-quality carbon steel strips through a high-frequency electric resistance welding (ERW) process. The production begins with steel coils which are uncoiled, leveled, and slit into precise strip widths. The strip is then continuously formed into a tubular shape through a series of forming rolls. High-frequency current is applied to heat the edges of the strip, which are then pressed together under pressure to form a strong, continuous weld seam. After welding, the pipe passes through sizing and straightening units to ensure dimensional accuracy and straightness. Finally, the pipe is cut to specified lengths by a flying saw. For enhanced performance, we also offer special surface treatments including calorizing (aluminizing) and ceramic coating, which significantly improve high-temperature resistance and extend service life.

Our oxygen lancing pipes are carefully packed to ensure safe delivery to your destination. Pipes are bundled with high-strength steel strapping, typically with 50 to 100 pieces per bundle depending on diameter. Plastic caps are fitted to both ends to protect the pipe openings and prevent debris ingress during transit. Bundles are wrapped with waterproof cloth or shrink film to provide moisture protection during ocean shipping. Container loading is carefully planned – bundles are arranged in 20ft or 40ft containers, securely braced with wooden blocks to prevent shifting. For bulk orders, vessel shipping is also available. All packaging materials comply with ISPM 15 export standards, ensuring smooth customs clearance. Customized packaging solutions – including wooden crates, pallet packing, or special labeling – are available upon request to meet specific project requirements.

Beyond the basic function of oxygen delivery, our lancing pipes are multi-purpose tools in the steel plant. They are widely used for opening furnace tap holes, cleaning ladle well blocks, unclogging tundish nozzles, and cutting or removing slag and solidified metal.
