RMC (Rigid Metal Conduit)

EMT (Electrical Metal Conduit)
Our galvanized metal conduit is available in multiple types to suit different application requirements, including Rigid Metal Conduit (RMC), Intermediate Metal Conduit (IMC), and Electrical Metallic Tubing (EMT). RMC offers the highest mechanical protection with threaded connections, ideal for heavy-duty and exposed installations. IMC provides a balance of strength and weight, offering cost-effective protection for general applications. EMT is the lightest and thinnest option, designed for easy bending and installation in dry indoor environments. All products comply with international standards including UL6, ANSI C80.1, and RoHS, with trade sizes ranging from 1/2" to 6"

Metal Conduit Accessories

The production of hot-dip galvanized metal conduit begins with high-quality steel strips or steel coils, which are first cold-formed or welded into the required pipe shape through an ERW (Electric Resistance Welding) process. The formed steel conduit then undergoes a thorough surface pretreatment, including degreasing, pickling, and fluxing, to remove all oil, rust, and oxides from the surface. After pretreatment, the conduits are immersed in a molten zinc bath at approximately 450°C, where a metallurgical reaction between the zinc and the steel forms a uniform, tightly bonded zinc-iron alloy coating layer. The conduits are then withdrawn from the zinc bath and passed through air knives to control coating thickness, ensuring a consistent zinc layer across the entire surface. After hot-dip galvanizing, the conduits undergo cooling, passivation treatment, and final inspection to guarantee coating quality and dimensional accuracy. This hot-dip galvanizing process provides excellent corrosion resistance and long service life for electrical conduit applications.

Our galvanized metal conduits are packed to standard export specifications. Each bundle is protected with wooden strips or spacers at both ends to prevent pipe shifting and thread damage during transit. High-strength galvanized steel strapping or plastic strapping is applied evenly to ensure secure bundling. Plastic caps or thread protectors can be fitted to pipe ends to protect threads and openings. The bundles are wrapped with waterproof cloth or moisture-proof paper to create a protective barrier suitable for ocean container transport. All packaging materials comply with ISPM 15 export standards for smooth customs clearance. During container loading, conduits are arranged by size and securely braced with wooden wedges to prevent movement. Whether by FCL or LCL, we ensure your conduits arrive safely and in perfect condition.
Widely used in commercial buildings, industrial facilities, underground structures, tunnels, and outdoor lighting systems, our galvanized electrical conduit provides reliable mechanical protection, easy wire pulling, and long-lasting durability. Threaded ends, couplings, and color-coded thread protectors are available for quick and secure installation.
