Push Pull Steel Prop
The scaffolding push pull prop, also known as an adjustable push-pull prop or stabilisation prop, is a versatile support component used to provide inclined support, vertical alignment, and lateral bracing for formwork, wall and column formwork, and scaffolding systems. Unlike vertical shoring props that bear load primarily in compression, the push pull prop is designed to both push and pull, making it ideal for stabilizing formwork in position and transferring wind loads. It typically consists of two telescopically sliding steel pipes – an inner tube and an outer tube – with a threaded adjustment mechanism that allows for quick and precise length adjustment. Manufactured from high-quality Q235, Q345, or Q195 steel, our push pull props are available with surface treatments including hot-dip galvanizing, electro-galvanizing, powder coating, and painting. All products comply with international standards including BS1139, EN74, and EN12810, ensuring safety and reliability in demanding construction environments.

Our scaffolding push pull props are available in a wide range of sizes and configurations to suit various project requirements. The inner tube is typically inserted into the outer tube, with adjustment achieved through a threaded ring nut and a pin inserted into the holes of the inner pipe. Adjustment mechanisms include a double handle sleeve (Type L) or a single ring nut (Type N). Standard adjustable length ranges from 1.4m to 3.9m, with extension lengths up to 14m available for special applications. Wall thickness varies from 1.6mm to 4.0mm, and the product is compatible with 48mm and 60mm diameter scaffolding tubes. Material grades include Q195, Q215, Q235, and Q345. Custom sizes and specifications are available upon request to meet specific project needs.

Our scaffolding push pull props are manufactured through a precision-engineered process that ensures consistent quality and reliable performance. The production begins with high-quality steel pipes, which are first cut to precise lengths using automatic cutting machines with a tolerance of ±1mm. The threaded sections are then formed through thread rolling or cutting techniques to ensure smooth engagement and high load capacity. The inner and outer pipes proceed to the welding stage, where components are joined using automated welding equipment to ensure strong, consistent joints. After welding, the inner tube is inserted into the outer tube, and the adjustable nut and safety pin are fitted under strict supervision to ensure all parts fit and work smoothly. The assembled props undergo thorough quality inspection, including dimensional checks, thread gauge testing, and load-bearing capacity verification. Finally, the products receive surface treatment – hot-dip galvanizing, electro-galvanizing, powder coating, or painting – to provide excellent corrosion resistance and long service life. Production for custom orders typically takes 15-35 working days, depending on the quantity and specific requirements.

Our scaffolding push pull props are carefully packaged to ensure safe delivery to your job site. Standard packaging includes steel pallets, bundles, or bulk loading, with each bundle clearly labeled with product specifications, quantity, and handling instructions. For enhanced protection, plywood boxes or customized packaging solutions are also available upon request. Container loading is carefully planned – a standard 20-foot container typically loads 22 to 26 tons of push pull props, depending on sizes and lengths. All packaging materials comply with ISPM 15 export standards for international shipping. Delivery time is typically 15-25 days after order confirmation. Whether by sea, air, or land, we ensure your push pull props arrive safely, efficiently, and on time. We also offer OEM packaging services to meet specific customer requirements.
Scaffolding push pull props are versatile components widely used in construction and civil engineering projects. Their primary function is to provide inclined support and lateral bracing for wall and column formwork, ensuring proper vertical alignment and stability during concrete pouring. They are also used to support and align prefabricated concrete elements, transfer wind loads from formwork systems, and stabilize shoring towers. In formwork applications, push pull props securely hold timber beams and formwork panels in place, preventing displacement during concrete placement. They are commonly used in concrete beam and slab formwork, wall construction, and ceiling support. With their push-pull mechanism and adjustable design, these props offer quick setup and precise positioning, making them ideal for high-rise construction, bridge projects, tunnel works, subway systems, and industrial facilities. Our scaffolding push pull props provide the strength, reliability, and flexibility that contractors need for safe and efficient construction.
