The scaffolding screw jack base, also known as a base jack or adjustable jack, is a vital load-bearing component installed at the bottom of scaffolding systems. It consists of a threaded steel rod (solid or hollow), a welded base plate, and an adjusting nut. It provides stable support and precise height adjustment, ensuring a level and safe working platform on uneven ground. Manufactured from Q235 steel, it is available in diameters from 30mm to 48mm and base plate sizes from 120×120mm to 150×150mm. Surface treatments include hot-dip galvanizing, electro-galvanizing, and painting. All products comply with EN74 and BS1139 standards.

Custom sizes and specifications can be produced upon request. Material grades include Q235, Q345, and 20# steel.

The production begins with high-quality steel rods or pipes, which are cut to precise lengths. The threaded section is formed by cold rolling or cutting to ensure smooth engagement and high load capacity. The base plate is then welded to the rod using automated welding equipment, followed by thorough inspection of dimensions, thread gauge, and load capacity. Finally, surface treatment is applied – hot-dip galvanizing, electro-galvanizing, or painting – to provide excellent corrosion resistance.

Screw jack bases are packed in steel pallets with woven bags or cartons, typically 20-25 pieces per bag and 25-30 bags per pallet. Customized packaging such as plywood boxes is available. A 20ft container can load about 25-30 tons. All packaging complies with ISPM 15 standards. Delivery time is 15-35 days after order confirmation.
