Scaffolding Coupler
Scaffolding couplers, also known as scaffold clamps or fittings, are critical connecting components in tubular scaffolding systems. They serve to securely fasten and connect steel pipes, forming a stable and reliable working platform for construction projects. Manufactured from high-quality steel (typically Q195, Q235, or Q235B), our couplers are available in drop-forged, casting and pressed types, with surface treatments including electro-galvanizing and hot-dip galvanizing, as well as painting for excellent corrosion resistance and long service life. All products comply with international standards such as BS 1139 and EN 74, ensuring safety and reliability in demanding construction environments
Scaffolding Coupler Specifications:
Our extensive range includes various coupler types to suit different scaffolding configurations. Right-Angle Couplers (also called double couplers or fixed clamps) connect two scaffold tubes at a 90-degree angle, providing rigid structural support. Swivel Couplers feature a swiveling joint that allows two tubes to be connected at any angle, offering maximum flexibility for complex scaffolding designs. Sleeve Couplers (joint pins) are used to join two tubes end-to-end, extending the overall length of the scaffold. Additionally, we offer Putlog Couplers, Girder Couplers, Half Couplers, and Ladder Couplers to meet diverse project requirements.

Our scaffolding couplers are manufactured through three primary processes: drop forging, pressing (stamping), and casting. Drop forged couplers are produced by heating steel billets and shaping them under high pressure, resulting in dense grain structure, superior strength, and excellent impact resistance – ideal for heavy-duty applications. Pressed couplers are formed from steel plates through stamping processes, offering cost-effectiveness and consistent quality for standard load requirements. Casting couplers are produced by pouring molten steel into molds, allowing for complex shapes and detailed designs with good strength and reasonable cost.
The production process begins with raw material inspection, followed by precise machining to ensure accurate dimensions and proper fit with scaffold tubes. Heat treatment is applied to enhance mechanical properties, and all products undergo rigorous quality control, including dimensional checks, hardness testing, and proof load testing to guarantee safety and reliability. Nuts, bolts, and other fastening components are manufactured with precision threads to ensure secure clamping and easy assembly on site.
For surface finishing, we offer electro-galvanizing, hot-dip galvanizing, powder coating, and painting to meet different corrosion resistance requirements. Hot-dip galvanizing provides the highest level of protection for outdoor and humid environments, while electro-galvanizing offers a smooth, bright finish for less demanding conditions. We also provide custom logo stamping or branding services – your company name, logo, or specific markings can be permanently stamped or printed onto the couplers as per your requirements, ensuring clear product identification and enhancing your brand presence on every job site.

Our scaffolding couplers are packed in standard export packaging to ensure they arrive in perfect condition after long-distance transportation. Typically, every 20-25 pieces are first placed in small plastic bags, then loaded into high-strength woven sacks or cartons. Each sack/carton has a net weight of approximately 25 kg, making it easy for manual handling and forklift loading. The openings are securely sealed with sturdy stitching thread or adhesive tape to prevent bursting during handling.
For convenient container loading and stacking, the sacks or cartons are usually arranged on standard wooden pallets (optional), wrapped with stretch film, and reinforced with strapping bands to prevent shifting or collapsing during transit. All wooden pallets and packaging materials comply with ISPM 15 international phytosanitary standards, are fumigated, and bear the IPPC mark to ensure smooth customs clearance.
For container shipping, we offer full container load (FCL) or less than container load (LCL) options, flexibly arranged according to customer requirements. During container loading, experienced workers stack the goods following the principle of "heavy at the bottom, light on top, compact and orderly" to maximize space utilization while minimizing collision and damage caused by movement during transit. For urgent orders or small quantities, we can also arrange express delivery or air freight services.
Additionally, we support customized packaging solutions — labeling, stamping, mixed packing, special carton sizes, and more can be arranged upon request. We pay attention to every detail to ensure your products are delivered safely, on time, and in perfect condition.

These scaffolding couplers are widely used in housing construction, bridge building, tunnel projects, subway systems, and heavy industrial facilities. With robust construction and reliable performance, our couplers ensure secure pipe connections and contribute to the overall stability and safety of scaffolding systems on every job site.
